The late Frederick Bernard Dawson
The death of Frederick Bernard Dawson aged 79 years of Worrall Hill, Lydbrook occurred at home on 20th January 2025.
Funeral service on Thursday 20th February at The Church of the Holy Jesus, Lydbrook with the Reverend Clare Edwards and Reverend Nick Bromfield officiating. Processional music was "You'll Never Walk Alone" by Gerry & The Pacemakers, the organist Mr Derek Yemm accompanied the hymns "Amazing Grace" and "Morning has broken", music during time of Reflection "Dancing in the Sky" by Amara (granddaughter) and Recessional music "You'll Never Walk Alone" by Gerry & The Pacemakers. The tribute was given by Mike Overthrow.
Following the service committal took place at The Forest of Dean Crematorium where Entry music was “I'll never love again” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, Reflection music with photographs “Always remember us this way” by Lady Gaga and Exit music “My way” by Elvis Presley.
Donations in memory of Bernard are to benefit Great Oaks Hospice and these are being received by Ernest Heal & Sons Funeral Directors, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Coleford, Glos, GL16 7BH.
